Netflix Ad Revenue Projected to Double to $3B by 2026 Ahead of July 16 Earnings

According to Motley Fool analysis via Yahoo Finance, Netflix's ad-supported subscriber base is expected to reach 250 million when the company reports earnings on July 16, up from 190 million at the end of 2025. The streaming giant's advertising revenue is projected to double from $1.5 billion in 2025 to $3 billion in 2026, with over 80% of ad-tier members watching Netflix weekly.

Motley Fool cautioned that if ad revenue growth disappoints relative to expectations or management's cost-cutting outlook for the second half of the year falls short, the actual results could be significantly worse than current projections.
