Over $314M in Crypto Contracts Liquidated in 24 Hours, Longs Account for 57%

According to CoinGlass, over $314 million in crypto contracts were liquidated in the past 24 hours as of July 6, affecting 78,908 traders globally. Long positions accounted for approximately $180 million of total liquidations, while short positions represented $134 million, giving bulls a 57% majority. The largest single liquidation occurred on the Hyperliquid platform's BTC-USD contract at $5.68 million. Bitcoin and Ethereum were the primary assets under liquidation pressure, with $137 million and $70.11 million in liquidations respectively over the period.
