People's Bank of China Hosts Seminar on International Monetary System Evolution on July 10

On July 10, the People's Bank of China held a seminar with PBOC Party Committee Secretary and Governor Pan Gongsheng in attendance. Zhu Min, dean of Tsinghua University's National Institute of Financial Research and former IMF deputy managing director, delivered a presentation titled "The Evolution of the International Monetary System: Theory and Practice." The session covered the development trajectory of the international monetary system, standards for measuring currency internationalization, and digital currency development, followed by interactive discussion with attendees. PBOC Deputy Governors Zhu Hexin and Lu Lei, along with officials from the State Administration of Foreign Exchange and various PBOC departments and branches, participated in the event.
