Phantom Hires Three Ventuals Team Members to Expand Perpetual Futures on July 1

According to CoinDesk, Phantom hired three former Ventuals team members—Alvin Hsia, Emily Hsia, and Aris Samad—on July 1 to strengthen its trading and data team. The trio previously launched OpenAI and Anthropic perpetual futures markets on Hyperliquid. Ventuals announced earlier this month that it would shut down and integrate with another Hyperliquid ecosystem project.

Phantom CEO Brandon Millman stated the platform is deepening its perpetual contracts business as open markets become a key focus area. Phantom has emerged as Hyperliquid's largest distribution partner.
