Philippine Government Sells Atrium of Makati Units for P1 Billion on July 16

According to the Department of Finance, the Philippine government completed the sale of 24 condominium units and 21 parking spaces in the Atrium of Makati building for P1 billion on July 16. The buyer is Sanpiro Realty Development Corporation. Finance Secretary Frederick Go said the sale demonstrates the government's commitment to convert idle assets into revenue for public spending.

The transaction pushed Privatization and Management Office (PMO) collections to P1.87 billion in the first half of 2026, already matching the office's full-year 2025 collections and exceeding its 2026 annual target by approximately 2.5 times.
