RBI Net Sells $8.94 Billion in April, Gold Reserves Unchanged

According to RBI data, India's central bank net sold $8.94 billion in the foreign exchange market in April, while maintaining stable gold reserves. The Reserve Bank bought $16.23 billion and sold $25.17 billion during the month. India's rupee fell to a record low of 96.96 per dollar amid rising oil prices and elevated global bond yields.
