Ripple Receives Preliminary Approval for Luxembourg Crypto Asset Service Provider License

According to official statement, Ripple announced it received preliminary approval for a crypto asset service provider license from Luxembourg's Financial Regulator, paving the way for MiCA-compliant payment infrastructure in the European Economic Area. The approval takes effect once final conditions are met. Combined with Ripple's existing electronic money institution license, European financial institutions can access integrated crypto asset and stablecoin payment infrastructure.
