Saudi Arabia Intercepts Multiple Drones Targeting Oil Facilities on July 27

According to Saudi Ministry of Defense statement on July 27, Saudi air defenses intercepted multiple unmanned drones attempting to target oil facilities in eastern regions and Riyadh. Defense Ministry spokesman Turki Al-Maliki said the drones were launched from Iraqi territory and were operated by Iran-backed militias. Al-Maliki stated Saudi Arabia reserves the right to respond at the appropriate time and place.
