Semiconductor Stocks Rally on Tuesday, Semiconductor ETF Climbs 4.3%

Semiconductor stocks rallied on Tuesday (July 21), with semiconductor-focused exchange-traded funds climbing 4.3% as chips led the broader market recovery. U.S. stock index futures, including S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 contracts, rose during the session, while major chip manufacturers Samsung Electronics and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) advanced alongside other technology names including Tesla and Nvidia.

According to Nikkei, TSMC plans to raise chip manufacturing service prices by as much as 10% starting in 2027 to offset rising costs for raw materials, equipment, and overseas factory construction.
