According to Marisks CEO Dimitris Maniatis, speaking at a Lloyd's List Intelligence briefing, shipping companies are facing the 'worst-case scenario' in the Strait of Hormuz amid escalating Iranian attacks on vessels. Maniatis noted that crew anxiety levels have reached unprecedented heights, with fewer ships transiting the waterway. 'Now, regardless of what we promise them, they refuse to go through the strait. This is no longer about money or any higher mission. It is pure fear driving decision-making,' Maniatis said.
