Singapore's Core Inflation to Peak Above 3% in Early 2027, ANZ Forecasts

According to ANZ Research's Khoon Goh on June 25, Singapore's core inflation rate is forecast to accelerate and peak above 3% in early 2027 before moderating. ANZ predicts average core inflation of 2.1% for 2026 and 2027. While oil price increases may continue to drive inflation higher in coming months due to delayed effects, there are currently no signs of broader price pressures across the economy.
