SK Hynix ADR Falls 9.32% to $152.35 on July 13, Erasing Most of First-Day Gains

SKHY-8.78%
SK Hynix's American Depositary Receipt (ADR) on Nasdaq fell 9.32% to $152.35 on July 13, wiping out most of the gains from its debut two days earlier. The stock opened at $170 on July 10, surging 12.76% on its first trading day, but retreated by approximately 82% of those gains in the following session. The ADR is now trading just $3.35 above its $149 offering price. Market analysts attribute the sharp reversal to limited initial liquidity and short-term supply-demand effects rather than a fundamental revaluation of the company's worth.
