SK Hynix ADR Trades at 30% Premium to Korean Shares

SKHY24.22%
According to blockchain analyst Ai Yi, SK Hynix ADR (SKHY) traded at a significant premium to Korean shares (SKHX) as of July 14. SKHX was quoted at approximately $1,303.85, while SKHY traded around $170.61, with the price gap reaching about 30.9%. The premium persists because ADR-to-Korean-share conversion is unidirectional—ADRs can only be canceled to obtain Korean shares, making redemption economically irrational when trading at a premium.
