SoftBank's Masayoshi Son Delays Retirement, Plans to Lead Company for Another 10-15 Years

According to Japanese news agency Kyodo News, Masayoshi Son, founder and CEO of SoftBank Group, stated on June 24 during the company's shareholder meeting that he would remain in the business for another 10 to 15 years. This reverses his earlier plan to hand over leadership in his sixties. Son also emphasized that he would focus on expanding the company's artificial intelligence operations.
