South Korea and Brazil Sign 7 MOUs on AI, Semiconductors, Critical Minerals on July 28

According to Yonhapinfomax, on July 28, South Korean President Lee Jae-myung and Brazilian officials held a business roundtable in São Paulo, signing seven cooperation memoranda covering advanced industries including artificial intelligence, semiconductors, automobiles, shipbuilding, and batteries.

The collaboration framework extends to critical mineral supply chains—from exploration and mining through refining and recycling—as well as joint development of next-generation commercial aircraft and expansion of aerospace partnerships. South Korea's advanced manufacturing capabilities will complement Brazil's reserves of lithium, nickel, rare earth elements, and clean energy resources.
