According to Yonhap Infomax, on July 21, South Korean brokerages raised price targets for Lotte Fine Chemical, citing strong Q2 earnings expectations. The consensus forecast for Q2 operating profit reached 37.4 billion won, representing a 330% year-over-year increase from 11.3 billion won in the same quarter last year.
The earnings upside is driven primarily by growing demand for TMAC (tetramethylammonium chloride), a key raw material for semiconductor photoresist used in advanced chip manufacturing. KB Securities raised its target price to 67,000 won from 56,000 won, while Samsung Securities and IBK Investment increased theirs to 82,000 won and 86,000 won respectively.
