According to South Korea's financial investment sector, individual investors have poured 2.0199 trillion won into covered call exchange-traded funds (ETFs) year-to-date as of July 5, seeking stable monthly dividends and downside protection amid market volatility. The Samsung Asset Management KODEX 200 Covered Call ETF led inflows, with net assets exceeding 6 trillion won. The product targets approximately 17 percent annual distributions through weekly call option premiums and dividend income.
