South Korea's 30-Year Government Bond Yields Hit 4.6% on July 22, Record High

According to Yonhap Infomax, South Korea's 30-year government bond yields hit 4.6% on July 22, marking a record high for the benchmark instrument. The 26-2 maturity surged 3.0 basis points to 4.600%, with an intraday peak of 4.612%. Three-year yields rose 2.9bp to 3.895%, while 10-year yields climbed 2.4bp to 4.358%. The move follows a global yield curve steepening trend, with U.S. 30-year and 10-year spreads hovering around 50bp.
