On Monday, SpaceX (SPCX) shares fell to $113.50, erasing more than $1.2 trillion in market value since the June peak of $225.64, as Cathie Wood's ARK Investment Management bought 124,543 shares across four ETFs. ARK's flagship Innovation ETF (ARKK) purchased 78,031 shares, while ARK Autonomous Technology & Robotics (ARKQ) added 25,442. ARK Next Generation Internet (ARKW) and ARK Space & Defense Innovation (ARKX) contributed smaller positions.
SpaceX faces two major near-term catalysts: its first public earnings report on August 4 and the expiration of post-IPO lockup restrictions on August 6, when up to 911.5 million shares may become eligible for sale.
