Spot Gold Rises 0.57% to $4,030.87 on July 1 as New York Close Approaches

On July 1, spot gold rose 0.57% to $4,030.87 per ounce during New York close, trading within a range of $3,960.30–$4,115.66 for the day. The metal showed significant strength ahead of U.S. stock market open around 21:30 Beijing time. Spot silver advanced 0.90% to $59.0942 per ounce, while COMEX copper futures fell 1.61% to $6.1530 per pound, spending most of the session in decline. Spot platinum rose 1.74% and palladium gained 0.27%.
