Spot Gold Rises 0.60% to $4,076.96/oz on Monday, Silver Up 0.40%, Copper Gains 0.97%

On Monday (July 27), spot gold rose 0.60% to $4,076.96 per ounce in New York afternoon trading, after retreating from earlier Asia-Pacific gains. Spot silver rose 0.40% to $58.41 per ounce, trading in a range of $58.17-$60.09 before paring gains. COMEX gold futures advanced 0.19% to $4,137.70 per ounce, while COMEX copper futures gained 0.97% to $6.40 per pound. Spot platinum and palladium both posted stronger gains, rising 2.14% and 2.11% respectively.
