Strategy Sells $263.5M in MSTR Shares, Skips Bitcoin Buys as USD Reserves Hit $3.2 Billion

According to an SEC 8-K filing released on Monday, Microstrategy sold approximately $263.5 million worth of MSTR shares between July 13 and July 19, making no bitcoin purchases during the period. The proceeds added $225 million to the company's U.S. dollar reserve, which reached $3.225 billion as of July 19.

Strategy's bitcoin holdings remain steady at 843,775 BTC, valued at approximately $54.7 billion at current prices. The company acquired these coins for about $63.7 billion at an average price of $75,476 per bitcoin, according to co-founder Michael Saylor. The position represents approximately 4 percent of bitcoin's 21 million supply cap.
