According to Bloomberg, Richard Heathcote, who stepped down as Tether's chief investment officer in March, is working with investment bank PJT Partners to sell part of his 1.26% stake in the stablecoin issuer. Tether has approved the sale, with discussions ongoing among potential buyers, though no valuation has been disclosed. Heathcote previously oversaw reserves backing USDT and led Tether's investments before transitioning to an advisory role.
