The USD1 (USD stablecoin) holding-and-earn interest campaign has launched on Gate, with a maximum annualized yield of 20%.

Gate News reports that, according to the latest announcement, Gate will temporarily launch a high-yield USD1 wealth-management program offering interest-bearing rewards. During the campaign period, if the assets account holds USD1, users can earn up to 20% annualized yield. The minimum holding requirement is 1 USD1. The annualized yield rate will be adjusted daily based on the remaining rewards budget for the month and the total effective USD1 holdings on the platform. The updated annualized yield rate will be published at around 14:00 (UTC+8) each day.

USD1 is a USD-pegged stablecoin issued by World Liberty Financial, fully collateralized by U.S. short-term Treasury bills and cash equivalents, and designed to maintain a 1:1 peg to the U.S. dollar. Daily earnings are calculated by multiplying the average holding amount by the annualized yield rate and dividing by 365. The system takes an USD1 balance snapshot every hour, and earnings will be distributed to the asset account on the next day. The first staking earnings will be distributed between 08:00 and 16:00 (UTC+8) on the second day after activation.

You don’t even know how much your time/age is worth—after you charge it, it becomes an “age” with 5 points, just like by.

Why is it "highest" annualized rate, and how long does it last?
