Trump Demands New York Reverse Data Center Ban, Calls for Change 'IMMEDIATELY'

According to Trump's post on Truth Social on Wednesday, the U.S. president criticized New York Governor Kathy Hochul's new data center moratorium and called for the policy to be changed immediately. New York signed the executive order on Tuesday, banning the construction of large-scale data centers using 50 or more megawatts of power for up to one year, making it the first state to impose such a ban. Trump wrote that data centers are "Money Machines" for states and argued the governor terminated them "for political reasons." He also urged that data centers "must pay" for their own water and power, with any surplus going back to state and local communities.
