According to CNBC, Trump reiterated on July 3 that Iran will purchase U.S. agricultural products including corn, wheat, and soybeans as part of a potential peace agreement to end the conflict between the U.S. and Iran. Trump stated the funds should be used for food purchases rather than rebuilding Iran's military. However, Iran's central bank governor rejected the claim last month, telling the Tasnim News Agency that Tehran has no obligation to buy agricultural inputs from the U.S.
