Uber Agrees to Acquire Delivery Hero for $14.8 Billion on July 16

According to Reuters, on July 16, Uber agreed to acquire Delivery Hero (the parent company of South Korean food delivery platform Baedal Minjok) for $14.8 billion at 41.50 euros per share. Once completed, the transaction will create the world's largest food delivery platform outside of China. Both companies' boards have approved the deal, with completion targeted for later this year.
