Ukraine Establishes Special Command for Long-Range Strikes on July 10

According to Ukraine's Presidential Office, on July 10, President Zelensky signed a decree establishing a special command within Ukraine's armed forces dedicated to long-range strikes against Russia. The command will consolidate available resources to further degrade Russia's combat capability.

Zelensky also reformed existing assault forces into a modernized, technology-driven joint rapid reaction force combining assault, artillery, and unmanned combat capabilities for enhanced frontline responsiveness. Brigadier General Dmytro Voloshin was appointed to lead the new force.
