U.S. Dollar Index Falls 0.50% on Non-Farm Payroll Day, Hits 100.558 Low

The ICE Dollar Index fell 0.50% to 100.890 points on July 2, the day of the U.S. Non-Farm Payroll report release. Following the data announcement at 20:30 Beijing time, the index dropped sharply to a daily low of 100.558 points within 15 minutes. The Bloomberg Dollar Index declined 0.43% to 1219.52 points, with an intraday range of 1225.21 to 1216.41 points.
