U.S. High-Yield Bond Default Rate Rises to 2.67%, Up 64 Basis Points

According to JPMorgan Chase, the U.S. high-yield bond default rate rose to 2.67% on a sequential basis, driven by a 64 basis point increase. The rate is now approaching the January 2024 peak of 2.80%.
