U.S. Imposes 10%-12.5% Tariffs on 60 Economies Amid Global Tariff Expiration

According to the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR), the United States imposed tariffs of 10% to 12.5% on 60 economies as the 10% global tariff approached expiration. The tariffs exempt oil, natural gas, telecommunications, and food products.

Spot gold fell 1.96% to $4,049 per ounce amid the announcement.
