U.S. Military Completes Seven-Hour Strikes on Iranian Targets Near Strait of Hormuz on July 14

According to U.S. Central Command, the military completed a new round of strikes on Iranian targets near the Strait of Hormuz and along Iranian coastal areas on the evening of July 14, with the operation lasting seven hours. Fighter jets, drones, and naval vessels deployed precision-guided weapons against Iranian missile and drone positions, naval capabilities, and coastal defense systems.

The strikes occurred on the same day the U.S. military reinstated a naval blockade of vessels traveling to and from Iranian ports and coastal regions, which took effect at 4 p.m. EDT on July 15.
