According to Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas, the U.S. ETF market launched a record 242 ETFs in June 2026, averaging approximately 11 new products per day. With 730 new ETFs added in the first half of 2026, the market is projected to surpass 1,450 new launches by year-end.
Emerging issuer Corgi launched over 100 ETFs in June alone, ranking sixth among issuers and positioning itself to potentially overtake BlackRock by year-end if current issuance rates continue. However, Corgi's average fund size stands at approximately $4 million compared to the industry average of $3 billion, highlighting significant capital attraction challenges ahead.
