Vitalik's AI Anonymity Challenge Won: Qwen2.5 Model Successfully Identifies Author on July 7

According to BlockBeats, on July 7, Vitalik Buterin announced that Qwen2.5 successfully completed his AI anonymity identification challenge. Buterin had written a revised version of EIP-7503 (Zero Knowledge Wormhole) in Chinese in 2024 and used Qwen2.5 for translation followed by manual revision to obscure his authorship. Despite effective stylistic obfuscation, the AI model identified the author by detecting unique thought patterns in mathematical and algorithmic explanations, such as specific numerical examples and logical chains, bypassing Buterin's essay-focused concealment strategy.
