X Removes Nearly 4,000 Accounts for Violating Monetization Policy, Sets to Return Over $1M in Revenue

According to PANews, X's product head Nikita Bier announced today an update to the creator monetization program, removing nearly 4,000 accounts for repeated violations including 'reply then follow' solicitations. The upgraded Grok detection system, now three times more accurate at identifying duplicate content, also flagged 1.5 million stolen posts. Through these enforcement changes, X plans to return over $1 million in revenue to original content creators.
