According to Odaily, ZachXBT, a crypto fraud researcher, accused Telegram of allowing scam advertisements to appear on his channel, posing security risks to subscribers. In a recent post, he called on the platform to remove restrictions on the ad-blocking feature. Currently, channels must reach Level 50 through Telegram's Boost feature to unlock the option to disable ads. ZachXBT has long tracked crypto scams, hacking incidents, and on-chain fund movements, and has repeatedly exposed phishing attacks and fraudulent projects.
