According to Zama founder Rand, Zama has launched Confidential RFQ, a confidential request-for-quote protocol, on Ethereum mainnet in private testnet. Public release is planned for September, with multi-chain support to follow. Built on the ERC-7984 confidential token standard, the protocol uses sealed-bid auctions to let market makers compete to fill encrypted trades while hiding transaction size, direction, and asset type throughout the process. The protocol allocates 100% of swap fees to buybacks and burns of ZAMA tokens, with no front-end fees.
