Zilliqa Ledger App Vulnerability Allows Private Key Reconstruction After Five Transactions

ZIL-2.03%

According to Zilliqa's official disclosure on July 22, the Zilliqa Ledger application contains a critical vulnerability allowing private keys to be reconstructed from public signatures after only five native Zilliqa transactions. The flaw exposes users to potential unauthorized access to their digital assets if exploited.

Following the disclosure, cryptocurrency exchange Upbit designated ZIL as a cautionary asset, signaling heightened concerns over the token's security environment. The exchange's move reflects broader market vigilance as participants await Zilliqa's remediation efforts and technical updates.
