According to UBS via BlockBeats, on July 3, the bank raised its DDR contract price benchmark for Q3 2026 to +32% quarter-on-quarter and Q4 2026 to +18%, up from prior forecasts of +17% and +12% respectively. UBS maintained its forecast that the DRAM industry will remain in supply shortage at least through 2028, with the gap between demand and supply growth expected to widen to 17% by 2027.
For NAND, UBS forecasts Q3 2026 prices at +30% quarter-on-quarter and Q4 2026 at +12%, with the upward cycle expected to continue through at least Q4 2027.
