According to Foresight News, Paul Cafiero, a partner at a16z crypto's marketing team, recently posted that the cryptocurrency industry suffers from pervasive "high-volume" communications, where every product launch is packaged as a milestone and competitors are frequently accused of fraud. This constant exaggeration, he warned, diminishes audiences' ability to discern genuinely important information.
Cafiero recommended that projects exercise caution with absolutist terms such as "historic" and "first," allowing data and actual progress to speak instead. He advocated maintaining a baseline of silence and raising volume only during truly significant moments to ensure credibility when it matters.
