According to TechCrunch, AI infrastructure startup Infinity raised $15 million at a $100 million valuation yesterday (July 20), with investors including Touring Capital, Principal VC, and researchers from OpenAI and Anthropic. Founded in 2025 by former Google Brain researcher Jeremy Nixon, the company develops software that generates and optimizes low-level code, enabling AI models to run efficiently on chips beyond Nvidia's ecosystem. Inference chip maker d-Matrix is among Infinity's customers. The startup employs a performance-based pricing model tied to measured cost savings rather than upfront licensing fees.
