According to CNBC, Anthropic is expanding its AI compute capacity in the Asia-Pacific region, currently hiring for 13 data center roles, with eight positions based in Australia and Japan. The U.S.-based AI lab is recruiting for data center engineers, operators, and sourcing specialists to support its rapid infrastructure expansion. This hiring push follows Anthropic's $65 billion funding round in May at a $965 billion valuation, with the company's monthly revenue run-rate reaching $47 billion, multiple times higher than the roughly $9 billion figure reported at the end of 2025.
