bitFlyer Europe Obtains MiCA CASP License from Luxembourg Regulator on June 26, First Japanese Exchange to Achieve Approval

According to CoinPost, bitFlyer Europe, a Luxembourg subsidiary of bitFlyer Holdings, obtained a Crypto-Asset Service Provider (CASP) license under the EU's MiCA framework from the Luxembourg Financial Supervisory Commission (CSSF) on June 26. With this approval, bitFlyer can now provide cross-border services across all 27 EU member states. bitFlyer stated this marks the first time a Japanese cryptocurrency exchange has received a MiCA CASP license.
