BlackRock Leads $12 Billion Debt Financing for Meta's El Paso Data Center on July 21

According to The Wall Street Journal on July 21, BlackRock is leading debt financing of at least $12 billion to support Meta's new data center in El Paso, Texas. BlackRock and its infrastructure and private credit divisions will hold 80% equity in the project, while Meta holds the remaining 20%. The facility is expected to provide approximately 1 gigawatt of capacity. JPMorgan Chase and Morgan Stanley are co-leading the debt issuance.
