BP Considers Exiting Joint Offshore Wind Project in Northern Japan

According to Nikkei Asia and Jin10 News, BP is considering exiting a joint offshore wind power project in northern Japan on July 6. The energy giant has already begun consultations with consortium partners led by Marubeni Corporation regarding its potential withdrawal, multiple sources revealed.

Marubeni's consortium is expected to continue developing the project despite BP's potential exit. BP's London headquarters stated that no final decision has been made.
