Canada Advances Western Coast Crude Pipeline with 1M Barrels Daily Capacity on July 2

According to Canada's Prime Minister's Office, the federal government formally submitted on July 2 a proposal to advance a western coast crude oil pipeline project for national priority review. The project will utilize existing pipeline corridors to transport crude oil from Alberta to the British Columbia coast, with a designed capacity of approximately 1 million barrels per day, aimed at shipping Canadian oil to global markets and reducing dependence on the U.S. market.
