Coinbase, OKX Offer 5–8% Bonuses After Binance Suspends EU Services Over Missing MiCA License by July 1

According to CoinDesk, Coinbase and OKX are offering bonuses after Binance said it would suspend some services for European Union customers due to failing to secure a Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) license by July 1. Under MiCA regulations, crypto firms need authorization from one EU member state to provide services across the bloc; without it, they must cease EU operations.

Coinbase is offering a 5% transfer bonus to new users in Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Poland, Sweden, and the UK until July 13. OKX said eligible users in the European Economic Area could receive welcome bonuses and deposit matching of up to 8%. Binance has stopped accepting new EU registrations and restricted certain services while keeping customer assets accessible. Coinbase has already secured MiCA authorization in Luxembourg.
