Crypto Industry to Contribute $55B to US Economy in 2026: NCA Study

According to research from the National Cryptocurrency Association (NCA) released Wednesday, the crypto industry is estimated to contribute $55 billion to the US economy in 2026 through salaries, worker spending and output.

The study found that about 34,000 people are directly employed by crypto companies in the US, supporting approximately 232,000 jobs across the entire economy. Texas, Washington, North Carolina, California and New York employed the most people in the industry, while Colorado was noted as a growing blockchain hub due to friendly regulatory policies.
