Douban Launches Conversational Ride-Hailing with Caocao Mobility in Beijing, Hangzhou

According to Beating, Douban (owned by ByteDance) launched a conversational one-click ride-hailing service in early June, powered by Caocao Mobility. Users in Beijing and Hangzhou selected for the gray test can simply state their travel preferences and destination in the chat interface, with the system automatically matching available vehicles and pricing from Caocao Mobility.

On the driver side, Caocao Mobility drivers confirmed receiving new "Douban service orders" labeled on the platform, with an additional 2 yuan incentive per completed ride. The collaboration stems from a strategic AI partnership announced by both companies in June 2026.
