According to an Iranian military source, an explosion struck the dock area of Sirik, a port city in southern Iran, at approximately 11:15 p.m. local time on June 26, after a projectile hit the facility. The source stated that roughly five hours earlier, the Sirik region had conducted warning fire at illegal vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.
